the 2 dueger mages in irenicus' first dungeon

in Original BG2 Bugs
when you fight these 2 mages, if you take more than 1 day and 8 hours I believe their bullets, slings, healing potion and staff disappear, and if you stack their potion with your potions ( if you get to them in time) then your potions will disappear with them, same goes with the sling bullets,

so what should happen is that the dueger mage's gear should not disappear under any circumstance no matter how long it takes to get to them
