I wanna pre-purchase bg2:ee and dont want to use the beamdog client can i pre-purchase and still be able to get the stand alone client?

    If you pre-purchase bg2:ee from Beamdog, at the release day you will be given the option to get the game through Beamdogs Client or to download it as a stand alone installer file (eg BGEEInstaller.exe ), in other words: Yes
