I am having Hardware issues

I tried the BGEE beta on two separate computers. My main computer is a powerful desktop, the game works great on it. On my laptop, a lower end machine but not too old machine, the game is not running. I downloaded it from the link in my email and it opens, says its updated and the "play" button is ready. I click on it and it loads up. the select screen stays up for about two seconds and then disappeares. afterwards the launcher stops responding and I have to hard-restart my computer to get it to exit.

Could you post your laptop specs please? See the spoiler'd part here if you're unsure how to find them: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/21583/phase-ii-hardware-compatibility-test/p1

Can you email me your DxDiag file?

    1. Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
    2. You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
    3. Type dxdiag in the text field
    4. Click OK
    5. If your computer has a 64-bit version of Windows, click the button Run 64-bit DXDIAG
    6. If your computer has a 32-bit version of Windows, that button will not be available
    7. Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
    8. Save this text file and attach it to your email

@Dee I'm very sorry, but it turned out to be a computer issue, not a bgee beta issue because other games wouldn't open either. Uninstalling and reinstalling and now it opens just fine.

I'm pretty sure BGEE requires at least an i7 quad-core processor, a pair of SLI enabled high end video cards, and *bare minimum* 8GB RAM to run properly. Yer prolly gonna need a new rig.

No, it doesn't. I can run the game smoothly on a single core 2.8 ghz CPU with 1.5 GB RAM and a 128 MB Nvidia video card. Minimum specs are 1 ghz CPU, 512 mb RAM and OpenGL 2.0

I'm pretty sure marceror is a troll.
