Order of the golden cup

From forgotten realms wiki
The order was dedicated to healing and protecting the sick, innocent and weak. Its members were generally peaceful and always try to help, rarely did they seek out evil to destroy. They were not pacifists, and would not hesitate to fight when confronted by evil. Still, members basically felt their role was more toward healing and protection than battle

What type of role do clerics, paladins, and monks each play in this order?

I think all if them would be natural doctor and physicians ( healing through faith, medicine, etc) first then changes their role when danger happens?

I am trying to develop the concept of a paladin healer (doctor) that becomes the classic paladin when the weak are harmed.

Is this completely lore breaking? How do you think each class/role on this order? This is not the classic slay evil order

If you want to do this as a paladin, I suggest first that you do not take a paladin kit that removes Lay on Hands. I would have your character make an effort to carry extra potions both for healing and for antidotes / removing status effects, maybe even carrying a few stone to flesh scrolls and other things so that you are prepared to assist others whenever needed. When you get spells in BG2, obviously you should focus on curative/restorative magic, with the occasional group defensive buff (you wouldn't use one that only affected yourself and couldn't protect others).

Your good-aligned Bhaalspawn abilities will continue to expand your healing repertoire. Aside from that, you will obviously favor quests that involve healing, unpetrifying, unpolymorphing or resurrecting others.

If you want a real challenge, have most of the members of your party be healers as well (perhaps making room for one person with thief skills... Tiax doesn't really fit flavor-wise with your concept). If you include an arcane caster, they should focus on defensive spells that can benefit others, or spells like Dispel Magic that can remove harmful effects.

That's my take on it. Good luck and have fun if you try it!
