1. Load the attached the save.
2. Open Dorn's inventory screen.
3. Notice that Dorn is wearing both Ring of Free Action and Boots of Speed.
4. Move Dorn around a bit.
5. Notice that he is moving around at normal speed.
6. Remove the Ring of Free Action.
7. Notice that the Dorn's portrait still shows the Free Action icon(same for the Record screen), but no Haste icon.
8. Move Dorn around a bit.
9. Notice that he is still moving around at normal speed.

Removing the Ring of Free Action should remove the Free Action effect.

I would have attached two saves if that was possible because this thing works bit differently if you haven't got RoFA equipped when you load the save. Then the haste icon actually shows up and Dorn moves at the Hasted speed, however the Free Action icon is still there. Also if you then equip, and un-equip the RoFA, the Haste icon will never show up again.

Still no haste speed if you re-equip the boots after removing the ring? Then it's a bug, otherwise it's vanilla behavior.

uhmmm looks like OP is right. Dying-->resurrecting should remove the bonus, though

Actually, it's a bug to let you be hasted while using RoFA. RoFA is supposed to make you immune to all movement impairing/lost control of character effects. This includes positive ones.

Looks like the "Free Action" effect is set to "Permanent until death".

Yes, but surely something should remove to Free Action effect. It even last through the incredibly powerful save/reload spell, even if the ring isn't equipped anymore!

The only thing that can solve this is CTRL-Y/ CTRL-R on the affected character (provided he is not charname ofcourse :P )
