HI. kinda new to this

my name is IXEBACHE, but i prefer to be called nobody.
new to the online Baldurs gate but not the PS2 games or the books. never played an MMORPG or whatever.
Honestly I can't believe these games have been out for so long and I never knew about them. so I grabbed some of them like this one BG and BGII as well as Icewind dale I and II. been really enjoying them alot and thought I'd try some online gaming. actually more out of curiosity I thought I'd look around to see if any one still even played these games when I found this site.

anyway I'd like to thank all of you for being here and hopefully meet you some time on gameranger and maybe test my connectivity.

Welcome dude! I hope you really enjoy this game. It has a plentiful of fans and even more to come - since its a "moddable" game, soon you will find that there is a lot of things you can do to play Baldur's Gate in many ways!

Thus, this is an CRPG, not a MMORPG, not that it is important right now. What you need to do is that Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is a very interesting game that can please both story-hungered players, tactical-maniacs and even casual games who expect a bit more of complexity in their lives.

I think one of the most proeminent features about BGEE (and cRPGs in general) is the party management. You will meet a bunch of "joinable-NPCs" who give the game a load of possibilities for fun and entertainment.

    TL,DR: Welcome and have fun!

I always find BG2 to be a lot more friendly to new players than BG1 as it's closer to modern RPGs. If you run into problems these forums are a good place to look for help! If you start a "which class is best" thread then expect a lot of contradictory posts though!
