Can't choose Alignment when making a new character

in BG:EE Bugs (v1.2)
Whenever I try to make a new character all the alignment buttons are greyed out, the only mod I have installed is part of the BG mod pack that allows evil characters to stay in the party regardless of your reputation. I have no idea what's wrong.

    This happens when I choose the Shadowdancer kit and after I try to choose another class the alignment buttons stay blacked out. Doesn't matter what the other class is. *just checked*
