BG:EE and Atari Anthology

I had heard that Atari would be publishing BG:EE. So, when I recently saw that Atari had just published the Dungeons & Dragons Anthology for all 6 games (Baldur's Gate, etc), I thought that this was the release and bought it at Game Stop. But, reading the posts, it appears that this is not the BG:EE release. Correct?

    Bummer. It works on Win 7. But, I can't believe that Atari would release this at the same time.

    My guess on that would be that they release the originals for those who prefer them over the enhanced. Personally I can't stand how vanilla Baldur's Gate I is but I know others may disagree. No point in forcing change down people's throats.

    Another thing worth mentioning is that these versions lack a couple essential files to make them moddable so I wouldn't buy them unless you're an oldschool gamer.
