Anyone know when these version will be finished?

    Trent said the linux version was probably still going to happen but there is no date. Having said that i have had 0 problems getting it to work via Wine

    I use Play On Linux and it appears Baldur's Gate : Enhanced Edition doesn't have an install script.

    i've found i dont need it. i just use wine to install steam and it runs and installs BG:EE without issue. just try right clicking the setup.exe with wine and see what happens

    I bought ever single version separately from the Beamdog guys hoping the extra cash will help the Linux native version come to life.

    I'm not a fan of Wine, but thanks Felspawn for letting me know.

    It was pretty easy to get going, but still requires a windows install to get working which kind of defeats the purpose.

    Some one should make the launcher not use what ever makes it unusable with wine.

    Why not use QT? Why would use you .Net?
