I just pre-ordered BG2EE and am a bit unsatisfied....

I have to use the beamdog client i wanted the stand alone launcher.......

    You won't have to use the beamdog client. You'll be able to use a standalone launcher, just as with BG1:EE purchased via beamdog. Pretty sure that's what they've said anyway, where did you get your information from?

    i prepurchased and in the beam dog client is where my game is with no mentioning of a stand alone launcher...

    I'm sure the option will be available. Best check before complaining.

    I'm pretty sure there will be a stand alone launcher once pre-loading starts :)

    If you log onto your account on Beamdog.com and click "my games" is Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition there? That is where you will go when downloading begins. You shouldn't need the client.

    As elminster said, after you log in, go to 'my games' and select BG2:EE. After that press the button "Install Now" which will initiate the installer download.. for example in BG:EE:

    all right its there under my games on the beam dog site so il try it like you said on nov 15...oh yeah thanks for helping me...
