Question about Romance Character

Hey quick question, I knew that in the Old Baldur's Gate II there was a mini bug on the romance that if your romance died in battle it would terminate the romance.

Does it work the same way on BGEE?

    I've definitely res'd Neera and had it continue.

    ok thanks. Some Characters die too easily. Lighting Bolt at Nera almost always equals instant death. Thanks for your response

    Only "deaths" that remove the character from the party, such as imprisonment, petrification, disintegration, and being chunked by physical damage.
