Multiplayer Sunrise/Sunset Cutscene Issue v1.2

Around the time when the sunrise/sunset cutscene needs to occur, the game pauses. This is expected, unfortunately, the expected cutscene does not play at all. The game unpauses a short moment after the pause, then pauses again. In my case this continued until I journeying to another location.
This happened in the wilderness one zone south of the Friendly Arm Inn where I was the host of the multiplayer game with one other player. Luckily we were close to the edge of the map and only had to wait several seconds for our stilted movement to travel south. As soon as we travelled, the pausing/unpausing stopped being an issue.
I don't know if this bug appears if the multiplayer game only contains the host. My operating system is Windows 7, I do not know what the operating system of the other player was. I should note that the other player in particular was being dropped from the game somewhat frequently and there were moments where the game was frozen for a while before it moved forward. One time my game stopped responding entirely and I had to use the task manager, but otherwise the game seemed okay if not stable from my point of view.
Steps for reproducing:
Launch a new BGEE v1.2 multiplayer game with at least one other player in the party.
Wait in a wilderness zone somewhere until a sunrise/sunset cinematic is expected to trigger.
The game will shift between being paused and unpaused without playing the cinematic until leaving the zone.
