Druid Alignments to a Specific Deity

Heya, new to this forum thang (and I'm not to sure if this is the right place..)
So BGEE hasn't got the Divine Remix mod yet. This means all our druidy characters are true neutral, AFAIK. I was wondering about the feasibility of a neutral druid of Auril, on the premise that she sees a need to protect the wild spaces of the world, and sees the civilised bastions of order as a blight deserving of Auril's wrath.

I haven't been thinking too in-depth about alignments for long, and I was wondering about how well this fit neutral alignments. It seems to me a stretch for True Neutral, and possibly more Chaotic Neutral? I was looking for thoughts and suggestions is all. My primary concern is that I want to differentiate this character from a Fighter/Cleric I have just played, who was devoted to Shar (Lawful Evil, I think), since this character will certainly engage in 'good' actions, but not where it profits commercialism and exploitation of the environment - which seem to comprise the methods of the major antagonists in BG.

So, anyway, any thoughts would be much appreciated. How well could this druid of Auril fulfil a TN alignment?

The character concept is just fine--Auril is the Frostmaiden and the blizzards of winter are certainly a natural phenomenon. The easy way to correct BGEE to fit is to edit alignmnt.2da to allow druids to be any partially-neutral alignment.

The info on the Forgotten Realms wiki seems to think TN Druid Aurilites are a-okay. My concern would be more about the lack of IWD1's awesome druid spells. I think there might be mod that adds them in, though.

I concur. Static Charge alone would make druids significantly more formidable.

It has always been allowed for worshipers of a deity to have an alignment different than that of their chosen deity...but you aren't going to find many lawful good Malarites.

Woah, cheers for the responses guys. What did Static Charge do? My experience is limited solely to BG, unfortunately.

I'm also not too sure about all the different resources on the gods - I went through a lot - only the Forgotten Realms wiki said that TN was okay. It's just that I've been reading that Auril has an exception to the one step rule in connection with something called 'Amia' (yeah seriously, I have no idea about all this stuff), that only LN, CN or NE (Auril's alignment) are allowed for her worshippers.

Are you suggesting this is a change I'd be able to make myself?

I was more thinking about the cold spells to do the Aurilite thing, but yeah there's a lot of non-cold Druid spells in IWD that would really tune up their arsenal. Faldorn would quickly become one of the best NPCs in the game, I think.

Yes, of course. Here is the alignmnt.2da that I use.

Exactly. My wife also wouldn't mind seeing some of the IWD druid shapechange forms for BGEE/BG2EE druids.
