Unconscious people get up and fall down again.

I noticed an issue at the very beginning in Candle Keep if you knock either of those assassins unconscious with your hands, leave the house, and then enter the house again. The assassins look as though they've just gotten back up and automatically fall down again right when you enter.

IMO, you'd think they'd just be lying there the whole time.
