Hi,
Problem[OS: WindowsXP, Language: German, Version: 1.2] :
I use a male elf mage killer ( fighter ) char and met Bassilus, my other party members are a few feets away.
If i try to convince him to go back to Beregost but failed ... the fight starts ...
My main character walk towards B. and do not attack. If I move him a bit around he
attack one time and then stop again.
If I send an other party member to him he begin to fight.
I used the fighter defense script ( fighter 2 ). Maybe he is to far away from it's group and
therefore stop fightig?
Solution:
The main character( any kind ) should attack him.
Edit: I switched to the default script and he remains fighting...
but if there are many other enemies around he did not focus on the main target but
select the nearest enemy ...
Solution:
The char should fight against the enemy the user told him

Olek

I don't know about the default script because I edited mine to take care of "housekeeping" things such as drinking healing potions if hurt, giving healing potions to someone else if they shout that they are hurt, using antidotes if poisoned, etc.
The best solutions to this problem would be to use a different script, make your own script to tell the character which enemy to fight, or turn off party AI and micromanage everyone's actions.
Thanks for your answer.
I will see whether the Default script is ok for me.
