Killing and rep question

Well, it's maybe kinda pointless to ask such thing but....

Here is situation.
I have 1 noname NPC whom i want to kill.
There are no one except for me.
But it lowers my rep and it's kinda wrong.
How my rep can be lowered if there is no witness? :D

I know that just stupid question but i'm curious.

    Same way that killing a paladin that attacks you because of who you are out North of the Gnoll Fortress gives you a reputation hit when you are in the middle of the wilds, to the point where the body would be picked clean by the time it was found and you would be halfway across the Sword Coast which would indeed remove all possible blame from your person.
