Windows Data Execution Protection causing BGEE Steam version to not launch.

I don't if this on your bug tracker yet, but I'd call this a very high priority bug. Especially with BG2EE Steam version launching next week.
Anyway if you go to the BGEE Steam forums you can see lot of people saying that BGEE won't launch, and for many of them DEP seems to be the cause. It would be nice if this wasn't the case with the BG2EE launch too.
Here's how to re-produce the bug.
1. Open System by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
2. Click Advanced system settings.
3. Under Performance, click Settings.
4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Open Steam and try to launch BGEE.
7. Observer that the game does not launch.
It's also worth noting that this doesn't seem to be affect the Beamdog launcher version at all. It will run quite happily even with DEP on.
