Selecting options and toggling fullscreen makes one go "back" in the menu

Start the game in full screen, select either Black Pits or the Original Game. Now click Options. Now press ALT-Enter. The menu goes back from Options to the main menu, just like you had clicked the "Back" option too.

Even more strange behavior: if you select Options and Language and hit ALT-Enter, the game doesn't toggle from full screen but just goes back one screen. Hitting ALT-Enter again goes back one menu like in the bug report above.

In many menus, it seems the problem is that when you hit ALT-Enter, the game toggles full screen mode, but also sends a regular enter press, which means selecting whatever default action is, usually "Done". You can see this when creating a character, when selecting a race or class, it also hits "Done" when toggling the full screen.
