Even more strange behavior when creating characters, at least in the Black Pits

Woaah! Start the game, select Black Pits, Single Player and New game. You are in the Create Party screen. Click on any portrait to view the character. Now hit ESC, don't click Done. You are immediately returned to the main menu (you shouldn't, it should just be the same as clicking Done). Now you must select Single Player etc again. Do that and select New Game. Now you see the stats of that character again, instead of the party screen. You can now click Done.

Seems like the menu system is really messed up.

Addition to this: do as above, delete all chars. Then create one character (i just selected one and clicked play). Now click on the portrait of that char, to see his stats. Now hit ESC. You are dropped to the main menu (rather than just going back one screen). Select Single Player and New Game. You now see the stats of that character again instead of the part creation screen. Click Done. Now you see that the char is not there and the six default characters are there again.
