Just wanted to share the following:
Most games are set on the road to Nashkel mines. Which is fun, but honestly it will blow off in a couple of weeks if not days.
Let's face it. Right now it is not possible to complete a campaign with random allies joining and leaving. The game is too big, people have real lives, technical issues etc etc.
On the other hand there are high level areas, with decent loot, interesting setting, like Durlag's Tower, which can be completed in a session lasting a few hours and are way more fun that running from inn to inn delivering quests.
In some weird way Durlag's Tower is designed multiplayer friendly:
It has nice battles, decent bosses, traps, story, it is not too time consuming and it give you a chance to show off your high level characters. And it can give you a chance to gain that last xp points required for your cap.
So my suggestion:
If you plan to go on a solo run pls do so in a multiplayer environment. The only difference is that after loading your game , you hit a "check" option for every member of the group.
That way the most of us here will be able to host all areas.
Remember to:
Keep saves before each major interesting area.
Export character after EVERY lvl up. That way you will have a character reasy for each situation.
See you all in there, mates.
