Avenger - Baby Wyvern poison?

Does the baby wyvern form still inflict poison damage following patch 1.2? (I just tried it out and it didn't seem to.)

    I just tested it against Firebead and it did work. The opponent has to fail their save vs death but it should work. When I tried it though it was only doing 1 damage/second, which is a lot worse than the 4 or 5 damage/second Baby Wyverns in game do (at least from my experience testing them just now).

    Edit: It could be that it progresses with level. I'll try it again at level 7.

    Yeah, it seems to be working. I guess my foes just kept making their saving throws when I previously tried it.
