Can I will import character from BG:EE (Steam) to BGII:EE (Beamdog)?

I bought the EE from steam, only because was cheaper, but I notice that the Beamdog version can be installed in every computer you has, and play together with my brother in LAN, and I was thinking to buy the BGII:EE from the Beamdog shop but I want to export my chracter from the Steam version.

I don't know how it actually works, and I don't know if use the same directory and the BGII:EE will detect my saved games.

I'm trying to kill Sarevok and it's impossible to me, and I will do it before the November 15th, for the BGII:EE, and I don't want to do it in vain.

    Yes. BGII:EE will have a separate save directory; if the game doesn't see your BG:EE saves, just copy the one you want to import from into it.

    Okey, thanks for the info!

    PD: Just now I killed Sarevok! and my save game is ready to export! (Jaheria and Khalid did not die in vane)
