Did you double up and purchase Baldur's Gate on both your desktop and a mobile platform?

I'm kind of interested what the result is here, as since the remake was announced I was looking forward to playing the game both at home and on the move. Whilst I realise you can faff about and move saves using other apps, I really just want the cloud save functionality implemented. If it looks like there a lot of people who would benefit, maybe it will get sorted sooner rather than later. As I'm burning through a game on PC it's looking like there isn't an awful lot of point picking up the iPad version of the sequel for me. I'll just stick with PC for BGII:EE.

If they can integrate wireless keyboards to be used with mobile option I would actually play it on my mobile device.

I only bought it for my desktop when they had that $5 sale.

Just iPad. I would have it on my Mac but I don't. Because, umm, reasons.

Just ipad. I have a young one. Computers are easy to pick up and put down as easily as a tablet.

I have desire for it on a "mobile device", but I would double up for a Linux version.

I only have it on PC. I play my games on PCs. They have full size keyboards and mice, and large monitors. Waaaaay better gaming experience than I would ever get on a tablet.

I'm planning on getting a new Nexus 10 when it comes out, so I'd really love to be able to take the BG series with me. Not to mention buying a second copy helps support a developer I believe in.

I was super stoked to get it for Android too. However my interest has waned considerably over the last year or so of waiting.

I totally doubled up and got it on PC and iPad. Now, if only 1.2 could get released on the iPad as well so I can start a new character with Rasaad as a Sun Soul monk and some annoying bugs removed, I'd be a very happy camper.

Would you really play BGEE on a camping trip? :P

What *else* is there to do on a camping trip?

    IRT thread
I was planning to play my Evil game at home and my Good game on my android tablet on the way to work but both games have since been completed on my PC. I assume the same will happen for BG2:EE really, but if they release it somewhere in the next three-four months they'll have their sell yet.

It does play better on the PC, slightly. But I love having it on a mobile platform. Especially with grey snowy days ahead, it makes very slow days at work a lot more enjoyable!

I don't have any other platform to play this on and I'm happy enough with just the one version.

Just one platform. A PC that I built that has top of the line technology. Well it did four years ago.

I play pretty heavily modified games, BG on a pad or phone would end up feeling way too limited and constricted for my tastes.

Well, my mobile platform is a windows laptop, so 1 purchace covers that too.

I bought it three times, but for the same Platform. (PC) :P
I'd have probably picked it up on iPad if I had an iPad. I have an iPhone but can't play it on that.

If I did have a tablet pc (I don't, I think they're silly) I would've gotten BG(II):EE for it. I actually almost considered getting one just for the purpose of having a "Gameboy Baldur's Gate" actually, but seeing as there's been no Android release that hasn't really been an option. For which my wallet is thankful.

I did both and it was a big mistake, because of the bad support on ipad, and they f*cked us up again as they told us with twitter(why should they use their own forum?) that they dont update the ipad version again because of some bugs.. I think we will never have a bugfree translated version on ipad.. Its frustrating..

This will probably piss some people off, but personally, I'm rather glad to see the PC version getting preferential treatment. Not saying Beamdog doesn't need to deliver on its promises on other platforms, just that it's good to see The One True Platform in the lead position, as it clearly should be.
