What's up with Beamdog?

Ok, so I'm relatively comfortable with 2.5 days to go that we won't be getting a last minute notice regarding a delay. That being said, I pre-ordered the game from Beamdog about 90 mins ago. What's with the delay in sending me instructions via email about my purchase? I haven't seen such a slow procedure since I was dealing with 9600 baud rate modems...

never mind. I just manually went to Beamdog and entered my credentials, re-downloaded the client, went to 'my account' and pre-d/l was there ready to be downloaded..

Hand-delivered notifications may take anywhere from 1 to 5 days, depending on airfare. :)

I purchased BGEE 3 times. Once for PC, once for Mac and once for iPad. I never once got a hand delivered mail. I don't know whether to feel insulted or relieved.

I think relieved is appropriate. The last forum member I heard about ended up having the Beamdog representative stay with him for a full week, and nearly ate him out of house and home!

It could have just been a rumor though.

Yes, but can you not also build bridges out of stone?
