More disappointment with the Journal

The Journal is still far from being fixed. Another quest cannot complete if it is not taken in a linear timeline.

If you kill everyone in the Xvart Village then you get the quest "Xvart Raids" this quest never completes.

    This problem is definitely related to Hulrik's dialog. I just loaded a new test game, created Hulrik, spoke to him, verified that the journal entry is there, set XvartsDead = 8, talked to him again, got the reward, and checked the journal--the entry is still there and would be there until the end of that game.

    Ankheg quest is similar -- if you complete it before reaching BG, you can get it again in BG and not be able to complete it, even in 1.2. I also ran into this with the lost son in pit.
