The Paws of the Cheetah and Dorn

Hi,

So I just managed to land myself a second pair of these boots but when I try them on Dorn they don't seem to have any affect. Is there any reason behind this?

They work on Kagain perfectly.

    Did you give him Spider's Bane, which has Free Action on it?

    Spider's Bane is alright, but you probably have a ring of free action on him? That negates the effect of the boots.

    Or even a ring of Free Action?

    Ah cheers guys. He was wearing Edventar's Gift. Completely overlooked the ring.

    Wait a second, I thought the boots just boost movement speed. Thought they changed the haste proponent.

    They do only boost movement speed but the ring of free action blocks any movement-changing effects which includes the boots.
