BG2EE bug, HP on start up

so I imported my bgee characters into bg2ee and for some reason the game thinks its a cool idea to reroll the HP, um no, don't do that, so I would like it fixed where if you import your characters from bgee, they will have the same hp when they enter bg2ee please, that is how it worked in the originals

I thought it was rerolled in the original as well? anyway when EEKEEPER works with BG2EE I will edit my hp down 10 points because I got 10 bonus

I am having the same issue. At the end of bgee I had 120hp, but when importing into bgee 2 I only have 91.

what I did was set the game to the lowest difficulty and then made my character, got max HP, then cranked it back up to insane

    That did the trick. Thanks!

My character's HP actually went up due to this.

Starting the game on the lowest difficulty might be a workaround for some, but I enjoy having to live with the bad rolls I made in BG1, and I'm sure there are others who(m?) feel the same way. I hope this is fixed soonish. :)

That's the way original BG2 worked as I remember it being quite frustrating importing characters and getting such low rolls. I think it only applied to single-classed characters. Multis had the same HPs I was used to in BG1.

My bard got the same HP's on Insane difficulty.
Exactly the same number he had in the final save.

noooooooooope, the original did not do that, and I have imported 100s if not 1000s of characters over the years :)

Yes, it did. I clearly remember importing my paladin from BG1 (120 HPs at the end of the game) to BG2 and starting Irenicus' dungeon with around 80.

This was on Core rules. Perhaps it's different on other settings.

odd, because mine was always on insane and if I imported with 120 hp he had 120 to start, but my game was fully patched though, was your game fully patched?

Yeah, I don't think I ever played without whatever the latest patch was at the time.

I always assumed the game just rerolled base HPs at the start of BG2 and then added whatever constitution bonus the character had.

It was never a big deal since I'd just shadowkeeper HPs back to where they were at the end of BG. Of course now, if you use EEKeeper to do that, half the dungeon might disappear on you with whatever is happening to spawns, but that's another issue, heh.

yep, disappearing baddies, that is an issue, even when they aren't random spawns they sometimes seem to be disappearing

EEKEEPER is already working I have already used it to edit my character a few times, had been stacking up my stats a bit to much by doing multiple playthroughs so I did'nt think having almost 20+ in all stats was a fun thing to have. I also nerfed my hp since my character got an extra 12 hp because of the game adding my familiar hp but then allowing me to summon a new one in BG2EE to add 12 extra. I also used it to nerf some characters lvls and xp since some of the characters I recruited at game start would have between 600 000 - 1 000 000 xp when my own character was at 200 000 xp.
