Minsc's starting XP

Don't know where to put this thread, so General will have to do.
When you rescue Minsc from his cage he already has 800.000 XP. I don't believe this is intended, or is it?

    Regular starting xp for him here. Did you import or start fresh or...?

    I imported from a BGEE Final Save.

    Maybe you played a pure Druid, Bard or Thief. Being level 10 at XP cap, the game "thinks" you're higher level than you should so it gives more experienced NPC. It's stupid, but vanilla BG2 had the same problem, only that Minsc would start with 400k XP, not 800k XP if I remember correctly.

    Lol so all the npcs start out much better than the godchild? Maybe they should change to using xp to decide

    Congrats!...you got the Minsc10.cre file. Move over Minsc7.cre (90,000), Minsc8.cre (161,000) and Minsc9.cre (400,000), because now Minsc(10) leads. Swords for everyone! :p

    I indeed imported a Thief (Swashbuckler) at XP cap.
