How does the save import work?

Does it bring over anything other than your character?

Somehow, my save from the end of BGEE has disappeared, and I'm recreating the character in Shadowkeeper, but I'm not sure if I'll be missing anything else from the save by just starting a new game in BG2EE with this character.

    Mostly only the golden pantaloons, but you can just edit those in. In practice nothing else worth worrying about carries over with the import, so recreating your character works fine.

    So... you dropped them? If you want them back may I suggest the undercellar?
