Import character to iPad from original game (not ee)

Hi!
I used to play Baldur's gate 2 when I was in high school :)
Can I import the character I used to play with in the original pc version (not enhanced edition) to the new iPad version? Or the saved game? (I'm referring to the upcoming bg2 for iPad)

    That's an excellent question. I don't THINK the save format has changed much...if anything the save format for the old game was more complex. I would definately give it a shot. That said, depending how long that was ago, you're likely to want to restart since you'll DEFINITELY have lost some of the story and thought process behind it. And with the EE addition adding new characters and new content...

    yes. you can import games and characters from the old version!
