Completed download, can't play?

Hello. I just finished downloading the full 2.6gb game. However, instead of getting a play button (like I did with BG:EE after updating to 1.2) it just says preload complete.

How do I get it to update the client so that it says Play?

    If the download is complete, you don't need the client anymore (except for updates). Look for a Baldur.exe and run it to play the game (should be in a folder numbered 00783).

    Thanks Jalily. I was able to find the .exe and run it fine without going through the updater.

    As a side note, for anyone else that has this issue, before Jalily responded I deleted a file called 783.status in the data folder. This caused the updater to recheck all the files and said Play after it was done instead of preload completed.

    Have fun, on steam it's still around 12 more hours untill you can start the download.
