Gaelyn Bayle giving me his offer to help rescue Imoen twice

After talking to Bayle the first time, I went to the Copper Coronet as usual and went through the slaver's quest, clearing out all the slaves and grabbing the Lilracor sword. Right after I exited the compound, Gaelyn Bayle came up to me again with the same speech as before and led me back to his house again to make the offer to rescue Imoen a second time.

It also went and displayed the Chapter 2 dialogue and showing Irenicus and Imoen being sent to Spellhold a second time.

Also, when I returned to the Copper Coronet, Lehtinan was alive again despite me having set Hendak free earlier.

@Elendar it might be a trouble with the save? It happened something like this in the original game, but on ToB, and more than one Drow Captain was spawning, so the Derro waves were TOTALLY endless. The I died, edited the save with NI and done!

Elendar, have you got a save handy from before this? Is it reproducible?

Unfortunately not, I didn't even think about keeping a save prior to the bug. The only save I have now is after the fact, which the only side effect of the bug involves Nalia no longer being in the Copper Coronet but De'Arnise Keep not open on the world map. Also I ended up getting the experience for killing the beastmaster and rescuing Hendak twice.

I have stumbled upon this problem and i have saves for it.

I've tried all exits to the slum from where the save is and all exits trigger Bayle and a chapter reset.

Did your game crash during the fight with the slavers right after you exit the tunnel, as well? I remember my quick save right after I killed them being odd and them being alive again the moment I loaded that quick save after the crash.

If my memory serves me right i think i had a crash just after clearing one room, but all the enemies were still dead when i loaded up the quicksave.
