Multi/Dual monks, barbarians and sorcerers?

What the title says, really. I dunno if it's been mentioned somewhere before, but I'd love to know if the classes introduced in BG2 will have any multi- and dualclassing options.

rule wise monks lose their monk abilities when they take on another non-monk class so that one's out :D

barbs can dual already through unlocking certain engine limitations. not sure about sorcs.

imo, monk is a pointless class for BG, like katanas and other asian weapon as well.

    fighting bare handed - nonsense.

Monks actually get really powerful by the end. Even fighting barehand.

Monks for BG1 are awful. There is absolutely no reason I would roll one unless it was to challenge myself and because I planned to import into BG2. Having played through BGtutu a bunch of times as various classes not designed to be played in the BG saga from level 1, monks are absolutely the pits.

Hopefully, Enhanced Edition will likely add some monk-only loot to make it worthwhile to pick one up.
