Gray icons in BG2EE

edited November 2013 in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
The option icons in the game on the panel of the bottom (hide in shadows, magic list, thief skills, special abilities...) are with the same color being usable or not, so it's being hard to identify when hide in shadows is again active, or if i have any special ability avaliable and therefore on. I see this as an bug, but if it's not, well receive this threas as a complain then :)!

Ps: where the icons should be gold, they're always grayed, being them usable or not. @Dee, just calling to you for costume :), but if isn't an issue of your competence, i will appreciate if you foward this report.

Yep, we're looking into the issue. Is this just for BGII:EE, or for BG:EE as well?

    since we're on topic

are the icons on the left side of the UI all meant to be grey or gold?

By a rule from old bg, every clicklabe icon in the game normally is gold and every locked to use icon in the game normally is grayed.

The theme is more in the vein of silver buttons, in contrast with BG:EE's gold. So that's working as intended; but there could be a much greater contrast with unusable buttons than there is now.

well, i really can't see the difference between an usable button of hide in shadows and an non usable button of hide in shadows. Atm they're the same in color and texture.
