in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
Current Behavior: if you don't engage melee with this guy he wont initiate dialogue and you can kill him with ranged weapons and such without him going hostile

Expected Behavior: As soon as you enter his house he should initiate dialogue and have the rest resume as normal

    Hmm, I'm not able to reproduce this one. Have you got a savegame from before you entered you'd be able to upload?

    Did you do anything unusual beforehand?

    I actually just finished it now, but here is what you do, walk in, and stay still and don't move any closer, then just select your range hitting guys, and fire away without moving closer, and he wont attack back or go hostile or have any buffs come up, and you don't even have to pause between selecting your ranged guys or anything, as long as you don't move he does nothing, this also happened in the original bg2 as well

    actually I still have the quick save and yup, just did it again, walked in, didn't move, selected range guys, fired arrows and bullets, and down without a fight, I have my quick save here, but I don't know how to send it to ya

    About Perth, for some reason I'm unable to end his domination (pointed out by Aerie) with either chaotic commands, or dispel. Is this intentional? I know that the only other character I encountered thus far (Glaicas in Nacia's quest) who had a mention of being under a status affect (charm) I was able to free him from it.
