Occasionally access Inventory/other UI area during day time and when return to game it's night time

Occasionally I will access the inventory or other parts of the User Interface and every section of the UI will inform me that the game is Paused. Sometimes when returning to gameplay the time of day will have shifted and it will suddenly be night time.
