Is there a step by step protocol for importing characters from BGIEE Gamestop to BGIIEE Beamdog?

Is there a step by step protocol for importing characters from BGIEE Gamestop to BGIIEE Beamdog? I am having difficulty locating file folders.

    I was not able to locate a character or saves folder from that directory, possibly because my BGEE is on gamestop. I was able to export character BGIEE and import BGIIEE straight from startup. Had I suspected it would be that easy I would have done so immediately. :)
