Resting while Berserk

in BGII:EE Bugs (v1.2.2030)
Not sure if this is intentional or not, but while my berserker is in enrage mode I cannot rest or quick save. For the life of me I can't remember if I was able to do this in the original version or not.

    would you be able to rest if you were in the middle of a hulk-out?

    As I understand it, this is an intentional change in EE to avoid problems with saving characters that might be about to die.
