Ability to customize amount of search nodes used in Path Finding

Would be nice to see this customization feature return That way I can boost it to the max and not have quite so clumsy path finding (Though it will still have abysmal negotiations when dealing with moving obstacles)
I think there was also an option to boost how frequently/often it would recalculate the route before settling on a long route if no short route is discovered within X amount of time/attempts. (My memory is a bit fuzzy on this, I know there was some kind of "extra" option in addition to what is mentioned in the first paragraph, though.
