[Known 7042] Cannot save the game with Spirit Armor active

After casting spirit armor, it blocks being able to save the game, plus it has a 2 hour duration. You used to be able to save the game with this buff active in the original game.

    Wow, it looks like the game is still registering you as in combat mode for the entire duration of Spirit Armor.

    Yes. Its pretty much a stable wizard spell to stop them from going squish, but then you cant save the game for the full duration. Pretty much makes the game completely unplayable for me now because im playing a custom game with both a swashmage and kensage.

    Damn it... O_o
    One of the early spells i used the most for my blade bard and now... _that_. O_o

    I was testing it quickly, the first time i was happy, as i could not reproduce it (seemed to work..), second time, indeed, no more able to save/rest... ^so the cause = error/fail on an own spell/ST..if failed..that ?! lol... great...^^

    ps;
    where can we check the 'bug/issues tracker', not to have to wonder and repeat unecessary reports??

    Thx @Mungri to have noticed that..i will have to follow that #6966 issue too then.. O_o

    This is a big game breaking bug, has there been a mod / dev response about it maybe in another thread yet?

    This bug apparently affects every spell or ability that has chance of damaging your own characters, such as Berzerker Rage.

    Wow, I want to play, but I cant now with this bug.

    Btw to people saying they have to travel to remove the spell before saving, have you tried dispelling it?

    Was just about to post that too. This is extremely annoying behaviour. Especially with things like Spirit/Ghost armor that last for hours, but at the same are the base protection of your caster that you want to keep them up as much as possible.

    Has there been any new information about this? When people say something has already been raised as an issue, how do I read more or find out about that issue?

    Yes Mungri, work like that here.. we just have to hope, now, they add that in the next patch... if ever they fix it in the next patch. Crossing fingers..

    +1. Ran into this and can confirm it. It may have something to do with the spell's save vs. spell or take damage portion, and the game registering it as a hostile debuff or some such.
