Strange music

Hi,
I installed classic BG2 before trying EE just for comparison. I found out strange thing. There were many music tracks I never heard in the game before. I was surprised as I played the game many times and remember all the music tracks. Right in the first dungeon level, there was different combat music, I noticed different music at elven camp, temple district also. However the music in the EE is same as I remember it. So I was wondering, whether some kind of mod or patch did it and why the music is absent from the EE?
