    There actually is an unofficial tweak, that lets you reforge soul reaver+4 into a soul reaver+6 with similar abilities as Carsomyr, which is used up in the process. Basically your "cursed Carsomyr."

    but in original BG 2 SoA there is cursed carsomyr in database and i remember some quest with paladins which allow to find dark paladins... mb this quest allow to make dark carsomyr?

    No. The "cursed Carsomyr" as you call it was not special in any way except for flavor, being usable "only by Anti-Paladins". You got it from the Githyanki when you return home from the Underdark, but there was no quest or any other use for it. It inspired some mod-created items, that's all. There was no "Anti-Carsomyr" in the original game, anywhere.

    Sadly, nope :) I tossed in in through keeper, but evil allignment characters can't wield it.

    I can't say as I don't have the EE, but I would be *very* surprised if he could.

    They specifically mentioned a while ago (I think in the ask us thread) that Carsomyr was being retooled for LG paladins instead of just paladins. There's supposed to be an equivalent, though whether or not it matches up is another question.

    If I had the skills I would definatly mod Carsomy into a Corrupted version or something, Sword is just too good to pass up on :) Be like a Corrupted Carsomyr, like Corrupted Ashbringer in Warcraft Universe... I crave this! I NEED THIS!!

    And that's exactly what I was talking about, it's already been modded in Item Upgrade Mod:

    materials (Cespenar, and Cromwell both can create it):

    Soul Reaver
    Heart of the Damned
    Carsomyr
    20,000 Gold

    result:
    Soul Reaver +6
    1d12 +6, +1d6 magic damage. 50% MR, dispel magic on
    hit, target suffers a -2 THAC0 penalty for 120
    seconds.

    Keep in mind though that the modded version above can't be made until well into ToB, whereas Carsomyr is available *very* early in SoA (depending on mods/skills).

    Yeah I know :) Original Soul Reaver ain't half bad either!
