NPC hate a little to quick, maybe? *spoilers* (maybe?)

Okey so playing with the new NPC's and trying to invite some of the old one's have proven a bit how to say different compared to before. Normaly I would get a warning before one of the NPC's just up and leaves the party because of another usually in the form of some arguments or such but with the case of the new NPC's and some of the old they just get angry instantly and then leaves.

In the case with Neera - Edwin I had some warnings before with them arguing before Edwin joined up with me and I know from BG1 that they did'nt like each other. Now about 2 seconds after Edwin joins the party he gives me the it's me or her speech. In Keldorn - Hexxat case I had no varning before leaving the Sewers but the second I left the sewer Keldorn went it's me or her speech aswell which I can understand seeing as it's paladin - vampire. But again some kind of varning would have been nice.

What also differs here though is the fact that if I remove Neera or Hexxat they both say that it's a mistake but if I ever change my mind they go to their out of party place. But Keldorn and Edwin are both a whole different story they dont tell you where they are going for a person like me who's played the game so many times I know where they will go but for new players it would have been nice to add in the line if you change your mind I will be waiting here or there.

...what is your Charisma score? Not entirely sure, but I believe it does have an effect. (So if your CHA score is min-maxed like the CHA of George W Bush Jr, no wonder they jump onto each other's face too quickly)

It is auto-scripted no matter your charisma score with Neera and Edwin as having Edwin in the party supposedly breaks Neera's story somehow, not sure about Keldorn and Hexxat.

Well my charisma is 17 which I think is quite high to be honest

@Tobajas Mine is 21 with a Nymph Cloak on, and Edwin STILL demanded me to remove Neera from the party. Kind of sad since I had them together in BG1EE without any issues.

@tobajas for Neera and Edwin this is intended behavior.

You cannot have both of them in the party at the same time. It's by design.

interesting, i though neera and edwin wouldve gotten along considering neera is chaotic neutral

Do any of the new NPCs not get along with eachother? I'd like to make a game with all 4.

The new NPC's don't fight if you have them in a party together. Some of them may get into conflicts with older NPC's.

As for Neera she won't stay in the same party as Edwin because Edwin is a member of the Red Wizards of Thay.

Perfect then, So i have me as a fighter/dual classic cleric (right off the bat), the 4 new characters... just need to figure out what else to take along, probably someone neutral. I'd love viconia to get a 2nd cleric, but i'm guessing she won't get along with rasaad.. opposing dieties and all. Maybe jaheira? Though i doubt she'll tolerate dorn... I guess if I go neutral route, Haer'Dalis is my best pick
