My hot thief got transformed into a weird looking lesbian black woman.... yay am so happy... unless anyone know if i can keep the first thief haxxat?

    Cool, thanks. Now to answer your question, you can kind of keep first Hexxat by not doing her quest, but you won't be able to keep her forever. There are other topics up discussing this right now.

    Am not really that impressed with the new contents.. but i like that i dont have to mod the game for inventory features.. i like that. I also like the new monk character. but neera and "new" haxxat" are a utter dissapointment.... I play a male sorceror.. was not there a new romance option for us in BG2 ?

    We only get neera ??? i though haxxat was the saving grace.... am second guessing the 25 dollar cost vs modding it myself.. even if its a damn hassel

    So let me get this straight

    Somebody made the first attractive female portrait in the history of baldurs gate enchanted history.
    Grafted it to a highly needed pure thief character that most parties need.

    "Myself just so happy when i found her in the bar" thinking it like a funny safana character or something

    At least have the damn decency to go Dragon age 2 on us by making everyone bisexual.. sure its fucking stupid but at least everyone could bed the damn thing

    I know i can edit the damn picture into the character.. and i can even edit that the game gets gender confused but the damn point was that i didnt have to fuck around with the damn >modding<

    I bought it for the enchantment part...

    Hexxat is a lesbian, she only liked the ladies. Neera, as far as I know, is straight, she only likes the dudes. Dorn is bi, he pretty much likes anything that has a pulse. Rasaad is straight and good, and only like the good aligned ladies.

    I think that covers all the romance options in the new NPCs, you also have Aerie, Viconia, and Jaheria who like the dudes, and Anomen who likes the ladies.

    I know that Haer'Dalis was supposed to be a bi romance in the original BG2 (I think anyway) but was never really implemented, I think the unfinished business mod for BG2 fixes it, but I could be mistaken.

    People are really really weird about these "romances" and it has brought some peoples rather nasty prejudices out of the woodwork, I love it :)

    Yes as a romantic partner i prefer the first hexxat and i also prefer if they are not lesbians

    How is the sole option of Anomen for female characters a "choice"?

    Original Baldur's Gate 2 had 3 heteronormative options for men and 1 heteronormative option for women.

    BG2EE broadens that to 5 options for men and 4 for women, not all of which are heteronormative.

    If you don't like one of the new options, that's unfortunate. I don't care for blackguards myself, but some people do. Please check your entitlement.

    Its the same argument.. thats why usally most developers go with the Dragon Age type ... aka mixed signals and always player centric orientation.

    There are allot of idiots running around branding a social justice against "male gamers" that spew out these kind of things... hope you not one of them

    @War_Lord, It just appears that Hexxat isn't for you romantically. The dev's never stated that Hexxat would be straight, they just stated that she was a romantic option. I'm sorry its not to your liking.
