[Mod] Weapon Ineffective / Game Crash

Going to get Korgan's Book of Kaza in the Lower Tombs of the GY District.
Unfortunately...
This doesn't make sense. He should be immune to normal weapons as a race, I get it. But Mantle means immunity to +3 or worse (+3 should NOT work), and Prot. from Magic Weapons should be ALL magic weapons.
Anyways, after beating my head against a wall (lowering resistance, spamming remove magic so that my fighters could maybe hit), I eventually decided to Console in some better weapons. I started with a basic Long Sword +3, and it immediately worked. My charname dual wielding monster started dealing damage.
I also spawned in Daystar....which is +4 vs. Evil Creatures and does double vs. undead, so that SUPER worked.
So immunity to +2 and less...doesn't make sense to me.
But then, spawning in +3/+4 longswords to murder this thing with my Protection from Undead scroll......my game crashes every single time I land the killing blow on this thing.
Basically, I need help.
Edit: If it helps, the only mods I have installed are "SCS" -> "BG2 Tweaks"
Edit2: Continuing to reproduce this, the crash actually happens before I land the killing blow. It doesn't matter how long it takes to get there, but when it is "Near Death" (and presumably one hit away from dying), my game immediately crashes.

The Vampyre that spawns in the entrance hall of the Southern Dungeons seems to be immune to anything less than +3 weapons.

The crash... at a guess, also SCS (it's inevitably a bit beta on BG2EE). I'll have a look.
For now I just did the ol' Ctrl-Y and moved on. It's enough for me to know that I have the capability to kill it, there's plenty of other places to gather XP, haha
Something like this:
I) install the "smarter vampires" component of SCS v28 (component 6580; will also require components 1000 and 5900).
2) start a new ToB game
3) Console in helm06 and equip it (protects from vampire domination)
4) Console in a few copies of VAMANC01 or similar
5) Watch the fight, periodically healing your character to keep them from dying - sooner or later (probably sooner) you'll get a crash.
Beyond that I haven't tracked the problem down further, and it's very possible that the crash is due to some inappropriate SCS opcode or script (although the component appears crash-free on vBG2).
Otherwise, i don't care because it is just a mod issue.
