Heretic Temple challenges

Hi!
I'm seem to be stuck at the Blinding Sun room in the Heretic Temple, I enter the room, the Invisible Stalkers spawn, Blind debuff gets applied etc. and that's about it. I can't seem to kill the IS or solve the room in any other way. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing here and will be facepalming myself, but would someone kindly point out what I'm doing wrong?

    From what I have read you need to kill them, but the issue I am having is I am a level 12 mage so I just do not have enough melee ability to kill these things. Not sure if I need to try this at a higher level with better spells.

    I have tried summon monster 2 which almost killed one of the three. Most of my spells won't land because these monsters are considered sanctified. My staff is a staff of the cleirc +3 so once in a blue moon I do manage to tickle them with a hit.

    I was able to complete the other three challenges, but for now this one is looking like I need to table it until a much higher level.
