I really like to tell you that , cutting Firkraag down with hordes of Gnoll was particularly fun in BG2 , I don't know if it can be done in BG2:EE... Yellin " Die $cum..." at the dragon as they bunch out 4's or 5's...
1. So , Wand of Monster Summoning WAS a little much too overpower , except for those battles that are , let's say , locked from the beginning of 'your' position : that you cannot prepare it beforehand.
***2. There was a "school" area in the Beholder cave , you could school your chars to max. level , it is the cave of shape of a beholder-alike , down in the Underdark. Just go prepared with the Baldur's Shield ( Shield of Balduran ) , and/or Cloak of Mirroring&Ring of Free Action , and rest over and over again , cutting Glyath ?s ( little beholders ) till you max your level.
3. The Unseeing Eye "is" the deadliest foe you ever run into , if you attack the cult beforehand at least that's what I had done. It has a special cast , a spell that slays you... To pass it , you just sacrifice a party member to take on the hold spell it makes , lucky you are if it misses , then rush unto him at the right time to cut it down for good. Save/Loads are here...
4. Battle for the Celestial Fury , was a great battle. It can , also , be done with summons easily , such easy that just at the beginning of the game , I mean , no run-arounds are necessary... So , summons are too over-powered ,here goes again...
5. I think I had found a way to get the Razor , without the eviling thing also in BG2 original , I'ope that was fixed in BG2:EE.
6. The Firkraag Castle , again , that adventurers waiting to ambush you ? THEY , can be solved again with SUMMONS!!!!! Summon is baaad... So , Wand of Summoning is baaaaaaa..... Just sell and buy it back again...
***7. Fighter/Druid , Thief/Mage kits are for the hardcore runs only should be... Because of the IronSkin and Mislead issues... So , Mislead! Is Mislead over-powering solved ?
So , many here are re-playing the game... If so , why not make it fun ? Just drop your Kensai's and solos/duals , or even vanilla runs! May be make 6 thieves ? or 6 mages ?
