Classes and kits that need rebalancing

Having completed the BG games a lot of times now I've gotten to the point where I want to play something new and interesting but the only classes/kits I haven't played through are a little underwhelming. There are a number that are interesting in principle whilst poorly implemented in practice (Wizard Slayer comes to mind), whilst some such as the Beast Master are notoriously weak. Others could have very imbalanced levelling in the context of the game (Druid).
I thought it would be a good idea to create a centralised list of problematic classes with (short) suggestions for improvements to get a better idea of which ones needed some work, with an eye on redrawing up the most commonly problematic kits and classes in the feature requests section.
Here's my suggestion for the Wizard Slayer (2nd comment by me):

Best thing to do is look for a mod.

The beta is totally playable, but right now it only revises the warrior-type classes. It does make them more interesting to play as, however.
I might even give it a shot right now
I know that monks are hard to classify, it's basically a new game of tag: how get I to lvl xx so I can use my fists against these enemys.
But yeah, there is so much new stuff around, it's really like rediscovering a new game. You really want to open all boxes, check all loot, because there just might be where that shiny new toy is hidden....
