Multiplayer - Black Pits Character removal.

I was playing multiplayer Black Pits with my girlfriend and she had made a Shadowdancer but ended up disliking the character. She deleted that character and created a new one. However upon resuming the game and completing a battle, right before Dennaton speaks and teleports you out, that new character is booted from the party and removed from the game.

We are playing over TP/ICP if that makes a difference.

    Same happened to my friend who also joined my game over TCP/IP. Then we tried to start a new game and he choose the same character. When we arrive to the Black Pits after being captured in the tavern. His character disappeared.
