So, I became the slayer once. (after the mandatory story occasions) and then the option to do it again never came back.

    You get the ability after a dream sequence.

    Yes, I know. I meant not including the mandatory story occasions. I used it once and never got it back. Just killed Irenicus for the last time, so it’s not a matter of waiting.

    Update: Came back in ToB, replacing the swashbuckler ability whirlwind attack. Upon using it and resting, it disappeared again and whirlwind attack returned.
